Dog on a Leash

During a recent conversation with her mother she'd compared her life to that of a dog on a leash. Dogs are usually patient while on a leash. They know if they keep in good step with the person leading them--they are likely to get a treat. Some dogs on leashes are frustrated with the person in charge of leading them. By nature these are aggressive dogs and they always struggle with any noose around their necks. Most generally, they are not bad dogs......but they have in them an inherent green light of sorts. They need to run and go. Running with the wind excited to see what is behind every tree and with the possibility of finding a pack of wild dogs like them to roam free with. Meanwhile, stuck pulling their lowly "leader" who is dawdling and much too slow--they no longer care about the treat. The dog is pretty sure it isn't going to taste good enough anyway.
