Serenity ( The 7 Words Series) No. 2

Serenity wears the lightest pastel colors. Mostly whites and blush pinks. She has been known to steal roses from the neighbor's garden on her early morning walks but her neighbor doesn't mind. He wakes at the crack of dawn just hoping to catch a glimpse of her outside his bedroom window before she quietly slips away like a nymph into the sunrise.
Serenity doesn't practice yoga like you think she might, instead she is known as an agile and proficient wind-surfer. The sea is her home. The salt air is her peace. As a child she was often made fun of in the elementary school yard for her constant fashion of frilly dresses and shiny white Mary Jane's. In high school she was the president of the book club and sat silently in the back of her classes dreaming up poetry. Serenity naturally loves animals and keeps a couple of lovebirds in an antique cage she found in an old barn.
Just as unlikely, is her lover. Intensity.

When the blood of Intensity runs red hot, Serenity places her soft hand on his brow.....and kisses it.
She often takes him to the side of the sea in her little house nestled in the dunes. There, she feeds him honeyed toast and chamomile tea. They make passionate love long into the night.....before she steals away once more for stolen roses in the neighbor's garden, come morning.

There, up in the bedroom window....peeking behind a curtain of bark cloth will be Diligence. Longing for her. Longing for Serenity.
