The Short Distance Between a Kind Heart and a Foolish Heart

 Go with your gut. Go with your heart.

The advice we are often given and advice we often give ourselves. It seems a foolproof measure of how to judge a situation, whatever that situation is.

It is my opinion that the heart sometimes lies. The gut on the other hand has the accuracy of a sniper. 

The gut takes everything in the brain and the heart and shoots you between the eyes with its reality. 

Good. Bad. Indifferent. 

The heart on the other hand has great potential for kindness. To see the best in every situation. Every person. The heart is noble and the heart is foolish.

The distance between the two is a rather short one.

A foolish heart is simply a kind heart that refuses to see the sniper's bullet even though it was warned. 

Now it is blind.
